The Centre for Spirituality of Care and Community Inc. (CSCC) is an Australian nonprofit organisation established in 2019 under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Victoria). It promotes the integration of spiritual care and community-building practices within a broad, inclusive framework of spirituality.
Purpose and mission
CSCC aims to advance understanding of spirituality as a process of "meaning-making" that influences individual and communal well-being, emphasizing holistic approaches to health. Its work acknowledges Australian Aboriginal perspectives on the interconnectedness of spirituality, land, and community. The organisation fosters collaboration between religious and secular institutions to embed spiritual care principles in societal structures.
History
CSCC was formally launched on 24 February 2019, inspired by the legacy of Reverend Roy Bradley, a pioneer in pastoral care in Australia. The organisation was founded by colleagues, friends, and family members of Bradley to continue his focus on community-centered spiritual support.

Vision A kind and mutually supportive society embeddedheld in rich web of diverse spirituality Spirituality The process and experience of meaning making as we seek to find our place in the world and beyond CSCC An inclusive nonprofit organisation honouring the life and work of the late Rev Roy Bradley About The Centre for Spirituality of Care and Community CSCC an organisation launched on February 24th 2019 is inspired by and honours the life and work of the late Rev Roy Bradley one of the leading figures of pastoral care in Australia. The Centre has been formed by some of his friends colleagues and family members who are eager to see the continuation of Roys pioneering work in pastoral care and commitment to the importance of community in the wider Australian society. Funding and resources permitting the organisation will seek to deepen our understanding of the spirituality of care and community through scholarly research seminars and forums and increase awareness in the wider society through strategic partnerships with organisations that have established networks and infrastructure for extended outreach.
