Our primary function is to provide a safe place for mature age persons to practice their professional and or career skills, and to reengage a social network that may have been lost since becoming unemployed. Members attend with a view to assisting the SHED as a project and the broader community. Our activities include members and community projects, fund raising BBQs and raffle ticket sales. The association provides health programs/training for members and the community, helps to reduce social isolation and goes a long way to improving self esteem for members.
