The Salt Creek Scholarship is a charitable fund intended to assist local country kids get to university. It assists specifically with accommodation costs payable directly to the residential college of the scholars' choice. in the last financial year we achieved our mission, paying all accommodation fees for our current scholars.

Helping country kids get to University. In recognition of the importance of tertiary educationtogether with the associated costs the Salt Creek Wind Farm has establishedan annual scholarship of 30K for the benefit of a deserving local applicant. The primary objective of the scholarship is to provide the opportunity to potential scholars who might not otherwise be able to manage a tertiary education as a result of the associated costs they face due to living away from home and supporting themselves close to their chosen place of study. Selection is based on personal qualities and demonstrated leadership as well as academic ability.
