Employment, Training and Collaborate We provide the following pro bono services to start up and small Indigenous businesses: 1) Assistance and guidance executing business plan/s as provided by Independent Consultants 2) Support and development of business plan/s to develop programs within skills development, work experience, and cultural connections 3) Support applications for funding to develop and/or create business opportunities 4) Engage with other Aboriginal Departments, State and Federal to support the development of mutual clients and their businesses. 5) Connect existing businesses with others to help develop stronger networks, support, and development 6) Assistance and mentoring Indigenous Directors on Governance aspects of running their business 7) Assistance and mentoring Indigenous Managers on Operational Management aspects of running their business 8) Training and mentoring Indigenous business owners on financial management and administration aspects of running their business 9) Tendering for and winning work then passing it on to Indigenous businesses (as subcontractors) 10) Assisting in business development to find and win work directly from a customer 11) Assisting in business development to introduce business directly to customer 12) Supporting and mentoring Community and/or business through their negotiation with corporate relationship 13) Assisting Indigenous businesses in applying for loans by helping them navigate through the information requirements and assisting them put it together 14) Training and assisting Indigenous business owners in their statutory (eg ORIC, ASIC, ATO) and other (eg, Bank) reporting obligations 15) Liaising with Government bodies to provide assistance to Indigenous small businesses on behalf of Indigenous business owners to get assistance for their businesses. 16) Mentoring Indigenous business owners in aspects concerning staff management
