SAVED provided accurate, timely and relevant information, support and early intervention screening services to young students in schools, who appeared to have learning challenges, with attention, behavioural and emotional regulation issues, as well as the often coexisiting learning difficulties. SAVED held small community 'Meet & Greets' to show support, and to provide FREE accurate, timely and relevant information to further inform and educate children, their families and the community. SAVED provided professional development for educators to assist in more indepth knowledge on the numerous neurological and developmental learning disabilities and to promote inclusivity and universal design for learning in education. Thus contributing to significant reduction of myth and stigma, as well as reduction in negative educational outcomes and antisocial issues in society. SAVED made and continue to make submissions on behalf of our community to relevant reputable organisations, surveys, requested collaborations, input requests and Royal Commission Inquiries. *We received a special thank you for our significant contribution into the Disability Royal Commission, where it was stated we have progressed their understanding into these disabilities and their impact on the individual and society. SAVED advocated on behalf of individuals who requested our assistance and worked with them to make positive progress in health and education. SAVED collaborated with their partners and other community organisations and individuals to broaden our scope and reach into our community. SAVED supplied accurate, relevant and supportive educational facts with referrals to 100% of the individuals and their families in our early intervention screening program. 92% of cases in our early intervention screening program indicated positive for possible neurodevelopmental conditions and/or possible coexisting learning challenges. 48% of our cases stated they had an exisiting asthma, allergy, skin conditions, personally or within their family. *Many people are unaware of this link. 44% of our cases stated they had previous A&E hospital admissions, surgery, broken bones, stitches or glue repair, and/or dislocation(s), sprains and strains. *Known significant statistic of adverse risks associated with these conditions. 42% of our cases were female or assigned female at birth. *Females have previously been underrepresented in these statistics. 28% of our cases had siblings that were also screened. *Known high genetic component. 18% of our cases stated they had a family history of these genetic conditions. 4% of our cases stated they were indigenous and/or of indigenous origin. We gathered significant data and statistics to help others understand the connection and real interaction between these genetic conditions and their impact on the individual and their families, so that we can move forward in our support of them and our community.
