Despite the many and ongoing challenges faced due to COVID19 and associated impacts, community house has continued to grow and thrive, providing exciting and engaging events, workshops and activities to the Camperdown and surrounding region. We are incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve, and the amazing volunteer teams that have rallied to create a welcoming, vibrant and connected community organisation. Our partnerships and work with other community groups and organisations continues to develop, which only strengthens and fortifies the community house, linking us to more diverse community representation and engagement. In the 20212022 financial year we adopted a new Strategic Plan. This is an exciting living document that truly represents the dynamic and adaptive community development and core principles that underpin and guide our decision making and direction. As a part of our COVIDresponse in support of our community, we did not apply any fees and charges for services and activities provided during 20202022. In July 2022 we reintroduced some fees and charges, and will continue to implement a new fee structure for services and activities going forward in order to support our sustainability and capacity to continue to offer these to the community. Ongoing programs we provided in 2022 include: Volunteer program Art workshops Online digital workshop program Community music group Zentangle mindfulness drawing group Knitting for a Cause program Crafternoon weekly craft group Community Library Community Garden Swap and Share Stall Men s Shed Ongoing services we provided in 2022 include: Food Bank emergency food relief Informal service referrals and information Welfare checks and support My Gov and online support No Interest Loans program application support, information and referrals Electricity Bonus application support Device Advice; support with navigating devices (computers, tablets and mobile phones) Photocopying, document scanning, computer and WIFI Various contactless wellbeing activities, including COVIDisolation art packs Online community scrap book Satellite Services available at community house in 2022: AXIS Employment Jobseeker Support Jobs Victoria Referral service Core partnerships in 2022 included: Camperdown and District Historical Society Barwon South West Waste and Resource Management Group Corangamite Arts Camperdown Pastoral and Agricultural Society Camperdown Show Over ten local service agencies, clubs, schools and community groups as partners in distribution of food hampers via our Food Bank. Special note must go to: In the 2122 FY, community house recorded a total of 2,801 volunteer hours. If modestly valued at $20.00ph, this would be a total of $56,020.00 of community value. In the 2122 FY, we have provided 330 hampers, 137 personal care packs and 27 nonfood essential items including pet food. This is over $30,000.00 worth of essential food and nonfood provided to our community.
