Cairns Street Chaplains - There for you when good nights go bad
We assisted people in the nightclub precinct of Cairns on Friday and Saturday nights, who were in trouble, vulnerable or at risk because of intoxication from alcohol or drugs: working with the police, QLD Ambulance Service, venue and mobile security services, we provided first aid, assisted persons to their accommodation, called ambulances, cleaned them up so they could go home by taxi, called family or friend to collect them from the city.
