Business Liaison Association Incorporated

The Business Liaison Association Incorporated is a not-for-profit organization established in 1993 with a mission to bridge the gap between secondary schools and the business community in Far North Queensland, Australia.

Purpose and Activities

The Association serves a crucial role by providing secondary students with relevant knowledge, skills, and resources that align with the evolving needs of the business sector. It does so by forging strong partnerships with educational institutions, training providers, employment agencies, government departments, and industry representatives.

Coverage and Reach

The Business Liaison Association has access to approximately 11,000 Year 10, 11, and 12 students across the far north region, spanning from Tully to Mossman and throughout the Tablelands. In addition, they have expanded their services to remote schools in the Cape and Gulf area.

Events and Initiatives

Annually, the organization collaborates with a growing network of businesses to offer awards, competitions, and bursaries. These events are designed to foster connections among students, educators, and the business community, with support from generous industry sponsors.
