April 2025 Welcoming the amazing Ilona McGuire who joined the community in April for the start of her 2025 Circular Economies immersive residency with Spaced. Ilona McGuire is a multidisciplinary artist of Bibbulmun Noongar and Kungarakan lineage. She is deeply fascinated by the social impacts of the Australian colony on both Indigenous peoples and whoever calls Australia home. To stir recover reenergise and reimagine understanding and conversation Ilona observes our shared histories through the intergenerational stories of her family.
