Environmental Water Trust The Environmental Water Trust is an independent nongovernment charitable organisation that assists in the delivery of environmental water to rivers and wetlands in order to enhance and restore freshwater systems their associated ecosystems ecological processes and biological diversity throughout Australia. It works with local communities water users and governments to achieve these crucial environmental outcomes. The Environmental Water Trust is owned by The Nature Conservancy Australia and the Murray Darling Wetlands Working Group Ltd. The Murray Darling Wetlands Working Group is a notforprofit nongovernment company with over 20 years experience managing and restoring wetlands in the MurrayDarling Basin.
