NCJWA (Vic) - powering Women & girls for a better world through programs, activities and advocacy NCJWA (Vic) works to improve social conditions and status of women in the Jewish and broader communit Jewish values inspire the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia Victoria (NCJWA Vic) to empower women to achieve their potential and improve the quality of life for all women, girls and their families. We achieve this through our work in the Jewish and broader communities by: Empowering women at key points across the lifecycle Advancing the status of women and girls Promoting social cohesion and human rights Civic and advocacy activities We hosted our annual Mina Fink Oration which included orators such as Elana Rubin AM, former Chair of Afterpay and Helen Silver AO, Allianz Australia s Deputy General Manager, Corporate Governance and Conduct, and a Director of Telstra and Slater & Gordon as well as well as our Fanny Reading event with Jane Vadiveloo, the founding CEO of Children s Ground, speak about Promise, Hope and Empowerment Transforming injustice with First Nations people. We also furthered out efforts to achieve Gender Equality with our #MakeSpaceForHer campaign which offers organisations an opportunity to commit to the Gender Equality pledge.
