During this reporting period, we secured grant funding to deliver a Clinician Trauma Training workshop in regional Coffs Harbour in September 2022. We also received a oneoff philanthropic donation that has meant that we can hire a CEO to fulfil the Foundation's mission to run inclusive, traumainformed, evidencedbased programs, workshops and support groups to support both trauma survivors and clinicians.

Birchtree Foundation Empowering healing in regional and rural Australia through education and support Birchtree Foundation is devoted to changing trauma care across Australia by increasing awareness and access to exceptional treatment services. Childhood trauma through maltreatment and neglect continues to cast long shadows over lives affecting health outcomes well into adulthood. Whether it is mental health issues dependencies or chronic diseases the link between adverse childhood experiences and compromised adult health is now recognised. The challenge is particularly magnified in regional Australia where a scarcity of support services and accessibility issues have created a significant health equity gap.
