Our vision is for all Australians have access to effective and timely obesity management. We work with researchers, clinicians and people living with obesity to understand the barriers, and find scalable and sustainable treatment access. We will equip people living with obesity and their Health Care Providers (HCPs) with effective weight management tools and resources. We support research that directly relates to improving obesity treatment provision or delivery to priority populations and advocate for improved obesity treatment access. This was a year of firsts for Impact Obesity. We appointed our first team members, created our first website and brand and established our first premises in South Melbourne. Importantly, the year yielded the first significant programs to support the mission of the charity as detailed in the program highlights.
