1. To build upon the legacy and great work of Mr John Fordham AM who passed away in November 2019 fundraising was occurring via the networks of fostered friendships and business relationships with various organisations known to the board. Prior to John passing away and despite his own health battles John established a fundraising foundation to help find a cure for throat cancer, as a way of giving back to the medical team who had been his carers throughout his threeyear cancer battle. John used his long association with wine writing and friendship with McGuigan Wines to establish his Critic s Choice wine brand, with royalties going to Head & Neck Cancer Foundation. To date there have been three Critic s Choice wines launched with labels designed by his daughter Sarah. 2. Utilising the contacts that both Benjamin and Nicholas Fordham have in the media, politics and business so their influence will enable the Foundation to access many important leaders in the community to spread the need for research into throat cancer. 3. Fellow Talks (our program of sponsoring educational talks delivered by fellows of the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation Limited) was able to still occur in this year, though many other programs were unfortunately not able to carry on given the context of Covid19.
