Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria (VFBV) is the association representing Victoria's 60,000 CFA Volunteers. VFBV Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria Representing CFA's 52,000 Volunteers. http://www.vfbv.com.au The Trust was established by VFBV in 2009 following the Black Saturday Fires and was established specifically to support VFBV provide extra assistance to CFA volunteers impacted by large campaign fires. It receives no government or CFA funding and is 100% dependent on donations. VFBV created the trust to recognise that CFA volunteers frequently put their communities first and other volunteers wish to recognise this by always looking after their own members who are frequently impacted by the very fires that we all strive to protect our communities from. VFBV pays all costs to manage the trust and ensure that 100% of money donated to the trust is used to support CFA volunteers suffering hardship.
