We re a global social movement that stops around 300 million kgs of plastic polluting the world each year. With our Plastic Free July® challenge; community programs; and sharing of plastic free behaviours, we help people and their organisations and governments to contribute to a world without plastic waste. In 2022, 3.6 million Australians were part of an estimated 140 million Plastic Free July participants worldwide who chose to refuse singleuse plastic for a cleaner environment and a low waste, sustainable future. This awardwinning behaviour change challenge helped participants reduced their household waste and recycling by 4.1% each per year, and 88% of participants made at least one lasting change. Globally, in 2022, participants reduced their household landfill and recycling waste by 2.6 billion kgs.
