We promoted historically informed performance of Baroque music, forming a collective of highly respected early music specialists from Tasmania and beyond for performances, tours, recordings and other musicrelated activities. In doing so we provided the Tasmanian, national and international public with a rich and informed audience experience that builds appreciation of Baroque music and adds to the cultural enrichment of the lives of individuals and community interest groups. We also delivered a training and development program that trains, mentors and develops local and national musicians through workshops and Academy style educational programs, including skill development that culminated in professional playing opportunities. We continued to develop and maintain resources in the form of printed music, recordings, research material or any other resource relevant to the strategic objectives of the Association, including the acquisition and maintenance of instruments.
