The Brandenburg, led by Paul Dyer, celebrates music of the 16th, 17th & 18th centuries The principal continuing activities of the company are to support, promote and encourage, either directly or indirectly, the knowledge, understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of music (and particularly Early Music) and other forms of entertainment by live performances, performances in film recording or otherwise, in all its expressions, forms and media. The company also manages the Eileen Marie Dyer AM Fund which supports the overseas study of period performance practices for musicians working in this area. The Foundation and the Eileen Dyer Fund continue to look for opportunities to support the professional development and Early Music education of young musicians.
