The NELUNE Foundation - Helping patients fight cancer with dignity

Not-for-profit helping children, adults and their families through cancer, providing support, funding care & post-operative medical aids Helping patients fight cancer with dignity. During the 2022 financial year fundraising activities recommenced with a major focus being the announcement of the Foundation's support for a dedicated Men's Health Centre, located on the St Vincent's Healthcare Campus in Darlinghurst. These fundraising activities and on line donor appeals also helped to maintain awareness of the need for ongoing support of critical research at the Garvan Institute and the maintenance of existing cancer patient treatment facilities such as those located at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre, the Nelune Comprehensive Cancer Centre at the Prince of Wales Hospital, the Cancer Survivorship Centre (also located at the Prince of Wales Hospital) and to provide funding for cancer care staff at St Vincent's Hospital and the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre.

The Foundation was established and cofounded by two friends who commenced fundraising in 2001 Nelune Rajapakse AM and Anna Guillan AM. With the support of the community these two friends have been united in their quest to make a difference to the lives of those who have been diagnosed with cancer.
