We provided training, Mental Health First Aid training to upskill our members to best support those in mental health and or alcohol and other drug crisis. We engaged the community to share their views and lived and living experience of alcohol and other drug use to inform submissions and position statements to Government and Service Providers, with the interest to promote the interests education and welfare of those affected by alcohol and other drug use. We established a lived experience reference group, a monthly meeting made up of 7 AODCCC members that provide direct lived experience to inform our systemic advocacy initiatives and service development. We developed training, providing upskilling sessions to assist our members to engage in lived experience representation and career development in the alcohol and other drug sector.
