The Mullumbimby Showground Land Manager manage the Showground meeting the NSW Crown Lands goals of being sustainable, encouraging public enjoyment, having multiple uses and protecting and conserving environmental assets. The Board has continued to grow strong relationships with local notforprofit and charitable organisations holding events and activities where possible considering COVID19 restrictions. These include the local farmers markets, Spaghetti Circus, Roundabout Theatre, Rotary and Renew Fest. The Showground offers oneoff spaces for community meetings, rehearsals and recreational gatherings based on a tiered fee structure catering for notforprofit and charitable organisations. The Board continues to initiate projects to maintain and/or upgrade ageing Showground infrastructure to modern building and safety standards to meet the communities needs.
