NHCC still achieves this through food parcels (Food Pantry & Food Swap), distribution of grocery gift cards, COACH and KidsHope mentoring and English Second Language classes. Presenting the Flourish course material. Partnerships with other churches as part of Whitehorse Churches Care, Whitehorse City Council, Box Hill Police, state and federal government and other local networks and agencies are also significant. Partnering with Jubilee Housing to address homelessness in the local area. We also provided a home and support to an asylum seeker family as the House of Hope project. We also partner closely with a mental health social worker addressing counselling and mentoring needs for vulnerable clients to overcome difficulties, build resilience and empower them to take next steps.
