The Camberwell Community Centre is a not-for-profit organisation located in Camberwell, Victoria, Australia. History and Facilities

In 2021, the Camberwell Community Centre moved to its current purpose-built facility, marking a new era for the organisation. The new centre features two light-filled art studios, a modern ceramics studio, a medium-sized hall (with a capacity of 80 people), learning and professional development rooms, two kitchens, and a boutique wellness studio. This infrastructure supports a wide range of activities and programs, promoting creativity, learning, and wellbeing.

Programs and Activities

The centre offers diverse programs for children and adults, including classes in art, ceramics, languages, health and wellbeing, as well as social activities such as cards and games. Children’s holiday programs are also available, featuring workshops on yoga, pottery, and art. Additional community activities include multi-cultural senior groups, film and book clubs, and social groups. The centre provides room and hall hire services for various functions and events.

Community Engagement

Camberwell Community Centre acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung People as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which it operates. It is committed to providing an inclusive environment for people of all genders, sexual orientations, cultures, and backgrounds. As a hub for community interaction, it facilitates connections through shared learning, creative activities, and social engagements.
