History and Mission
SWARA has been actively involved in supporting individuals with disabilities for over 47 years. Its mission is to enhance the lives of people with diverse physical, mental, and psychosocial disabilities by providing loving service and support.
Services
SWARA offers a range of services tailored to support individuals across a wide age range (10 to 70 years). These include:

Structured Group Activities: SWARA provides centre-based programs focusing on skill development, social connection, and independence. These activities are designed to foster personal growth and community engagement.

Community-Based Supports: Participants can engage in social, recreational, and daily activities both in the community and at home, aimed at enhancing independence and quality of life.

Supported Independent Living (SIL): SWARA assists NDIS participants in considering Supported Independent Living options, facilitating greater autonomy and independence.

Health and Wellbeing Initiatives: The organisation promotes health and wellbeing through mindfulness, yoga, and meditation programs, highlighting their benefits for people with disabilities.
