The Zamasa Foundation continues to fund the Myeloma Fellowship at St Vincent's Hospital in NSW. Dr Georgia McCaughan (the Myeloma Fellow) has established a dedicated Myeloma Clinic for new referrals of patients with plasma cell dyscrasias including multiple myeloma, smouldering myeloma, MGUL and AL amylidosis. Through Dr McCaughan, the Myeloma Clinic has been selected as a site for AllG trials, FRAILM, IRIL and SeaLAND, as well as DREAMM8 and BelaCarD. Dr McCaughan's successor, Dr Angela Hwang, commenced as a fellow in April 2022 and a third fellow will commence in May 2023.

FOCUSED ON LEADING EDGE IMMUNOTHERAPY RESEARCH INTO MULTIPLE MYELOMA WELCOME TO THE ZAMASA FOUNDATION The ZAMASA Foundation is a research foundation focused specifically on leading edge research into multiple myeloma with an emphasis on recent genetically engineered advances in immunotherapy. The Foundation will also focus on the advancement of genetic approaches to treatments that are focused on some of the more debilitating aspects associated with disease progression such as bone and kidney damage. Initiatives targeting more effective early screening of multiple myeloma may also be considered. Through collaboration and direct funding the ZAMASA Foundation will contribute to ongoing global efforts to provide patients with longevity and enhanced quality of life.
