Future Vision Foundation encourages and supports the research efforts of Vision Eye Institute staff and associated clinicians. This includes staff with littletono formal research experience but who are keen to improve diagnosis, treatments and/or healthcare experiences for patients with eye conditions. In 2022, the Board of Future Vision Foundation approved grants be paid to 12 applicants to undertake their research projects which all relate to innovative research to improve patient outcomes and healthcare experiences within clinical ophthalmology . As at 30 June 2022, no amounts had been paid to successful grant recipients. These amounts will be paid in the 20222023 financial year.
