Mostly Modern Projects

The core mission of Mostly Modern Projects is to support the performance and creation of music by living composers through concerts and educational outreach initiatives. MMP has five main divisions— Mostly Modern Festival (MMF), an annual, three-week summer festival in Saratoga Springs, NY; Music & Medicine, an outreach program founded in 2020, to provide healing and restoration to hospitals, retirement homes, community and vaccination centers; American Modern Ensemble (AME), a new music ensemble based in NYC; Mostly Modern Pops, our newest program, dedicated to bringing the joy of music to public spaces all over New York City and the greater Tri-State area; and American Modern Recordings (AMR), a boutique record label that focuses on music by living composers
