Seaview is a familyoriented community of approximately 360 homes located in the central portion of Fire Island between the Village of Ocean Beach and Ocean Bay Park. Seaview is divided between the two towns of Islip and Brookhaven. The dividing line between the two townships runs north to south along Ivy Walk in Seaview. Most residents use their homes during the weekends and as vacation residences from April to November.
