Chinese American Academic Professional Society The Chinese American Academic and Professional Society CAAPS established in 1975 is a registered 501C3 notforprofit and nonpolitical organization with the purposes of A. Promoting fellowship and cooperation in scholarly and professional activities as well as encouraging and supporting educational undertakings conducive to the interests concerns and wellbeing of its membership B. Encouraging and facilitating the exchange enhancement and application of the skills and expertise of its membership in the interest of advancing scientific knowledge social and human values and C. Encouraging and promoting cultural understanding and communications among Chinese Americans in general and with other ethnic groups in American and Chinese Communities elsewhere.
