Our Mission Opera Index is a nonprofit 501c3 volunteer organization whose mission is to provide advocacy for opera and support for its artists. The elements of this mission are twofold Provide support for opera singers at the onset of their careers including such endeavors as financial awards sponsored recitals and foreign study grants. Foster a community of opera lovers through activities created to promote shared relationships and to enhance socialization in the opera environment.
