Our goal is to empower and partner with individuals and communities to alleviate the hardships of poverty, provide opportunities for thriving and eliminate the root causes of poverty in southeastern Vermont. Southeastern Vermont Community Action's (SEVCA) mission is to "enable people to cope with, and reduce the hardships of poverty; create sustainable self-sufficiency; and reduce the causes and move toward the elimination of poverty."
