Jamaica Youth Education Support Jamaica YES is a Dallas Texas based all volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization working to help support Jamaican schools and students who are most in need. nationally 1 in 4 Jamaicans face severe food insecurityIn the Rural areas of jamaica its even higher IMPACT ON THE 2024 2025 SCHOOL YEAR 16 Schools Supported over 810 Students impacted 4000 Meals funded per week For many children in the underserved communities of Jamaica a healthybreakfast is not guaranteed. Imagine the impact of a nutritious meal on a childs ability to excel in school. Principals and teachers report that students benefiting from our programs have demonstrated improved attendance a reduction in behavioral issues and increased test scores.
