WELCOME TO THE CONFERENCE OF NATIONAL BLACK CHURCHES CNBC Announces New Program Initiative Advancing Health Equity Be kind and compassionate to one another. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Awards Grant to the Conference of National Black Churches CNBC to Lift the Voice of the Black Church to promote social change centered in compassion and faith Atlanta GA December 1 2024 The Conference of National Black Churches CNBC is pleased to partner with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation working with community members to improve the health and vitality of our communities by leveraging and building upon the inherent strengths resources capabilities and networks that already exist within our communities to develop solutions that create positive sustainable change. This pilot project will be implemented in select communities in Atlanta GA Detroit MI Dallas and Houston TX New York NY Southern CA District of Columbia Maryland and Virginia encouraging participants to take an active role in improving their own health outcomes. Black Faith leaders will lead this important work promoting kindness and compassion driving social change particularly through faithdriven messages that encourage kinder gentler treatment of others and ownership of our personal health outcomes.
