The River Road Rescue Squad is a Basic Life Support BLS Emergency Medical Services EMS provider headquartered in Piscataway NJ and dispatched internally by MedCoRe. Founded in 1961 by residents driven by their desire to serve their community we have continued our tradition of service through volunteerism to serve residents and visitors of Piscataway Township and anywhere else the need may arise. Our organization which leverages more than 60 years of infield experience is licensed by the NJ Department of Health Office of Emergency Medical Services and exists to save lives relieve suffering and injury promote safety in all of its branches and provide ambulance and rescue services to the sick and injured regardless of race creed or ability to pay.
