Every Child Fed applies a social business approach to add value to the local supply chain in order to create sustainable local production and eliminate dependence on external resources. We establish local, self-sustaining manufacturing plants to produce RUTF, a peanut-based therapeutic food clinically proven to have 95% efficacy in curing severe acute malnutrition. We serve children whose condition has progressed to the point of life or death and require RUTF to survive. Our approach creates real change by growing the local economy, empowering communities and saving lives.
