Foundation Mission The John Kerr Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with Muscular Dystrophy MD. Our objective is to provide the tools experiences and resources needed for people living with MD to achieve Independence and maximize societal contribution. Our primary activity is our annual Life Development Retreat which teaches young adults how to advocate for and maximize their Independence. Additional endeavors include the awarding of academic scholarships providing medical and other needed equipment providing opportunities for inclusive experiences organizing adventurerelated activities and mainstreaming into society by promoting selfworth and enhancing community awareness of Muscular Dystrophy.
