We focus on the United States' compliance with international human rights norms, using litigation as the primary tool for securing compliance and for bringing public attention to these problems.Since 1996, we have served as the U.S. affiliate of a worldwide network (the World Organization Against Torture (SOS Torture) network) of more than 200 groups monitoring human rights compliance by their own governments.
