Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association CAVMA CAVMA has been a professional association of veterinarians in the greater Austin Texas area dedicated to continuing veterinary education for its members since the 1960s. What started as a small group of local veterinarians established itself as a local veterinary medical association VMA in 1965. Today we are a registered Texas nonprofit and hold the federal IRS designation of a public charity 509 a2 under section 501c3. Become a member We hold monthly meetings which provide 2 hours of CE a meal and most importantly a chance to meet your colleagues.
