tannerfoundation Main menu Home SAD NEWS The Daniel Tanner FoundationThe Daniel Tanner Foundation was established in 2010 with the mission of advancing American public education specifically with regard to the democratizing function and design of the curriculum of nonselective elementary schools and nonselective secondary schools of the comprehensive type. The Foundation supports scholarly and scientific investigations of problems pertaining to public education and the publication of the findings of such investigations. Charter schools voucher schools and specialized academic schools are not eligible for grants. Grants may also be made to scholarly societies and other taxexempt organizations and individuals engaged in advancing public education through research studies and action projects.
