Welcome The Long Beach Police Historical Society was founded in 1995 and it was incorporated in October 1997 as a 501 C 3 Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. Our Mission is to collect artifacts badges equipment books documents historical narratives photographs firearms etc. pertaining to the Long Beach Police Department and to preserve exhibit and share the history of the Long Beach Police Department with the citizens of this city through educational programs and the development of the Long Beach Police Museum. In January of 2008 we produced a Salute to the Chief of Police Centennial 19082008 marking 100 years of Chiefs of the Long Beach Police Department.
