We Care is a faith-based nonprofit with a simple mission: Serving our neighbors. Everyone should have equitable access to resources through meaningful relationships that foster dignity and hope, in partnership with churches and the community. Launched 36 years ago as an ecumenical project of area churches, We Care I.N.C. is an independent nonprofit with a simple mission: to serve as a central resource for anyone in our part of rural Michigan who might need a helping hand. We Care I.N.C. helps support and manage more than 24 ministries and programs, including food, personal care and pantries, heat assistance, and more. We Care I.N.C. also connects people with a variety of human-service agencies, community organizations, support groups, and other resources in our area. Thanks to the generosity of countless volunteers and donors, every year We Care I.N.C. is able offer a helping hand to hundreds of children and families in need. Though we are fueled by our faith tradition, We Care collaborates with and serves everyone - period.
