National Medical Fellowships is developing a health care workforce committed to achieving better health for everyone. We address the growing physician shortage and eliminate medical deserts by empowering scholars to fulfill their dreams of become doctors. The mission of National Medical Fellowships (NMF) is to provide financial support to underrepresented minority medical students, to increase the number of minority physicians in clinical care, research, and academic medicine, and to articulate the vital role minority physicians play in eliminating disparities in healthcare and ensuring the well being of our society.
