WVS is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals in the local Willamette Valley. The organization fulfills its mission by providing a place for musicians to thrive and play quality music and to share these rich musical programs with the surrounding community. WVS also endeavors to collaborate with other artists and cultural organizations in the Willamette Valley further enhancing its programs and broadening community outreach.

The Symphony will also be performing ArmenianAmerican composer Alan Hovhaness Symphony no. 2 Mysterious Mountain and Ludwig Van Beethovens Pastoral Symphony no. 6.
