The Child's Advocate provides attorneys to represent children in contentious family court cases. Our services are available only by court appointment. Please visit our website for more information. To provide competent, appropriate legal representation for any minor child who resides in Wake County, NC, & who wants or needs legal help but is not otherwise afforded any, particularly children whose custody is at issue in high conflict or Domestic Violence cases and children who are victims or witnesses in civil or criminal cases. Representation is through a multi-disciplinary legal-mental health partnership in order to prevent further harm to the child & allow the child's voice to be heard.
