Colorado Mountain Club Foundation Supporting the Colorado Mountain Club and organizations with similar missions since 1973 The Mission of the Colorado Mountain Club Foundation is to raise manage and distribute funds to support the stewardship conservation education and other programs of the Colorado Mountain Club and other similar organizations. Our Vision is to become the foundation of choice providing a perpetual source of financial support to protect and preserve mountain environments now and into the future. The CMCF was incorporated in 1973 under the Colorado Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act. The purposes for which this corporation was formed are exclusively to receive administer and disburse funds for taxexempt charitable scientific literary and educational purposes as set forth in section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
