Formed to enable mobility challenged people of all ages to once again enjoy a life of active standing and participation. Paragolfer/VertaCat Mission statement: The Stand up and Play foundation is a Volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is changing the lives of mobility challenged veterans and other Wheelchair User's with the remarkable piece of equipment - the Paramobile which allows them to stand up again & participate in outdoor, recreational activities, & sports. We provide the unique combination of the Paramobile, adaptive equipment & well trained volunteers to give users unimaginable levels of freedom and independence. The physical therapy and positive psychological benefits a disabled person achieves from standing to participate in sports and recreation has an enormous impact on their lives. Our goal is to make Paramobiles available to as many veterans, veteran’s groups, rehab center, golf course, & hospitals .
