The mission of the Salesian Monastery is to seek God while being of service to the entire world. The founders of the Salesian spiritual family, Saint Francis de Sales and Saint Jane de Chantal, emphasized that no one has a corner on holiness and that we find God by being faithful to the duties of our state in life. Psychological services, natural medicine, spiritual direction, workshops, and retreats are all offered here. Others join in from time to time for prayer or retreat. While vowed Salesian religious are Catholic Christians, our spirit is clearly ecumencial, celebrating all that which we hold in common with others and reverencing that which may be different.  This monastery has offered human development services in Asia from time to time over the years.
