Home Page To celebrate the history and culture of the former Jewish community in HohenemsAustria We are a nonprofit organization incorporated in New Jersey for the purposes of supporting the JewishMuseum of Hohenems Austria known in German as the Jdisches Museum Hohenems. The Jewish Museum of Hohenems as a regional museum remembers the rural Jewish communityofHohenems and its various contributions to the development of Vorarlberg and the surrounding regions. Itconfrontscontemporary questions of Jewish life and culture in Europe the diaspora and Israel questions of thefutureof Europe between migration and tradition. The museum also deals with the end of the community of Hohenemstheregional Nazi history the expulsion or deportation of the last members of the community antiSemitism andtheHolocaust.
