Angels for Hearts – Supporting Hearts Kids & Families
We work closely with the Child Life Specialist to bring normalcy to Pediatric Heart Patients & Heart Families/Heart Angel families in the hospital & during recovery. We strive to promote that heart kids are first and foremost kids before heart patients. Angels for Hearts was founded for the purpose of helping pediatric heart patients ages newborn to 18 regain a sense of normalcy while they are in the hospital and during recovery. We remind heart kids that they are first and foremost kids before being heart patients.

Kimberly Kaufman is a Sacramento native diagnosed with congestive heart failure at the young age of 30. Through her experiences in the hospital meeting pediatric heart patients and their families Kim realized she was in a unique position to help. With her parents Curtis and Patti Kaufman Kimberly founded Angels for Hearts in 2008as a 501c3taxexempt nonprofit organization.
