Our mission is to nurture and promote the NW art and fine crafts community. The NW Art Alliance provides artists with essential tools, education and exposure to help them succeed, and provides our area with access to a vibrant community of artists and craftspeople. We do this through a variety of marketplaces and activities throughout the year. Our foundation is the Best of the Northwest art and fine craft shows that occur in March, October and November. These juried events have a long-standing reputation for bringing together some of the very best talent that the region has to offer. New this year is an Emerging Artist Program that provides a 3 new artists in a year with the opportunity to participate free of charge and receive mentorship from an artist in their medium. At these events, we also have Art4Kids which provides an opportunity for kids to learn about and express their inner artist. Artist demonstrations help to educate the public on the value of handmade art and craft and teach appreciation of the creative process. All of our artists are small business people, so we also offer resources to assist them in managing those businesses more efficiently.
